Course Overview

The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is designed for those working or wishing to work as teachers/trainers. It is possible for teachers/trainers those who are not formally contracted as teachers/trainers complete this qualification.

All candidates, whether pre-service (Currently not working) or in-service (Currently working) must have access to 30 hours of teaching. This qualification is suitable for those delivering education and training in any learning environment such as College, University, Private Training Company either Volunteer, full time, part time or casual teacher.

What are the entry requirements?
Candidates for this course must have completed Level 3 Award in Education & Training or Former PTLLS Course .Candidates for this course should have a good standard of verbal communications skills.

Course assessment:
No formal examination is required for this course, but at the end of the course you need to submit portfolio.

Future Progression:
Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as: Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training OR Assessor Course .

Chapter 9: Understanding and managing behaviours in a learning environment.

How long is the training course?
It has been designed to be completed by 3 Days depending on past experience and personal capabilities / competence.

Class Based Course:
Please note: After 3 days in the class, your tutor will set a deadline with you to submit your portfolio. However, if you submit early you will be certified early.
