The Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification covers the principles and practices of Internal Verification. The Level 4: IQA Award replaced the V1 and V2 qualifications, they are part of the new suite of qualifications.

Entry requirements
You must have good literacy and numeracy skills. We strongly recommend you have completed the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (Assessors Award). You also need to demonstrate level of competency in order to enrol for this course. You must be able to demonstrate competency through work place assessment. You must have at least 2 candidates to assess as part of the training.
Course Length
There is no minimum duration but the qualification is awarded when you have met the assessment criteria. The average course length is 6 weeks but can be done in 4 weeks on fast track.
Course assessment:
No formal examination is required for this course, but at the end of the course you need to submit portfolio of evidence.
The learner will need to meet the requirements outlined below to achieve award.
