
This qualification is intended for people who want to work in the private security industry and who may require an SIA licence to practise. It covers the knowledge and understanding for areas that are relevant to the role of a Door Supervisor. This award is made up of four separate units all of which must be completed in order to gain the full award.

To obtain the Pearson(Edexcel) BTEC Level 2 Door Supervisors qualification(QCF) , you will need to attend and take four training modules and pass three exams. The course will be delivered over 38 guided learning hours,
Training leading to the licence-linked door supervision qualifications must be delivered over a minimum of Five or Four days and this is compulsory attendance.

Once you complete the exams they are then assessed by the Examining Body. Securematics Training will notify you of your results within 7 working days from the completion of the course. Once you have completed the course successfully you will then receive your Certificate awarded by the examining body. After which you will be able to apply for your SIA Licence to legally work as a Door Supervisor
